Rakowsky discovered that she was $200 richer after waking up and pulling herself back up to the machine.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe told her [about the payout] when she woke up,\u201d said Debbie Junstrom, one of the elderly lady’s daughters.<\/p>\n

Rakowsky will be Fine after Fainting Episode<\/strong><\/p>\n

One might think that the reason why Rakowsky fainted is because she’s old and in poor health. But Junstrom says that fainting is something that runs in the family.<\/p>\n

This means Rakowsky will be in good health to celebrate her mini slots jackpot.<\/p>\n

Back Story on Rakowsky<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the Pittsburgh Gazette<\/a>, Rakowsky is a lifelong Pennsylvania resident.<\/p>\n

She was born in August 22, 1917 in Avella. The sixth of nine children, Alice’s family moved to Pittsburgh’s Oakwood neighborhood not long after she was born.<\/p>\n

Rakowsky worked at a factory on Pittsburgh’s North Side as a young woman, making pots and pans. She met Edward Rakowsky, her future husband, at a street fair in Carnegie.<\/p>\n

He worked at Columbia Steel & Shafting Co. in East Carnegie. The two were married at Carnegie’s St. Ignatius Catholic Church on August 24, 1940.<\/p>\n

The couple had two daughters in Junstrom and Arlene Brown.<\/p>\n

Alice began working as a waitress at Village Dairy in Westwood after her children were grown up. And she truly enjoyed her job.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe loved it there,\u201d said Junstrom . \u201cShe loved talking to the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Junstrom went on to say that her mother was an excellent cook and baker, who became well known for her spaghetti sauce and holiday nutbread.<\/p>\n

Alice and Edward loved to travel to Atlantic City for casino visits. He passed away in May 2010 after being married to Alice for 69 years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
