McCarthy&#8217;s court papers claim that injuries sustained in the incident are all permanent.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/timesleader.com\/news\/local\/570996\/lawsuit-slot-machine-at-mohegan-sun-toppled-onto-womans-head\" class=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow\">Times Leader<\/a>, McCarthy wants damages in excess of $50,000. The Mohegan Sun hasn&#8217;t answered a message left by the Times Leader asking for comment.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.slotsmamma.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/mohegan-sun-casino-pocono-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2727\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slotsmamma.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/mohegan-sun-casino-pocono-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.slotsmamma.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/mohegan-sun-casino-pocono-768x433.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.slotsmamma.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/mohegan-sun-casino-pocono.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>This is the latest stroke of bad luck to hit the Mohegan Sun Pocono, which was recently scammed out of over $422,000 by two former employees and a slots player.<\/p>\n<p>As we reported yesterday, cocktail waitress Rochelle Poszeluznyj pleaded guilty in an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slotsmamma.com\/blog\/cocktail-waitress-pleads-guilty-slots-cheating-scam\/\">elaborate slots scam<\/a> that saw her pass off player&#8217;s club cards to a gambler named Mark Heltzel. <\/p>\n<p>Heltzel used $478,000 worth of free play from the cards to win $422,000 from the slot machines. He, Poszeluznyj, and player development VP Mark Pellegrini split the profits three ways.<\/p>\n<p>The cheating scam started with Pellegrini, who had access to player&#8217;s club cards.
