Slots Excuses to Avoid

Many gamblers grow frustrated when they lose on slot machines. They may even offer a variety of slots excuses when things aren’t going their way.

It’s perfectly fine to be disappointed about a bad gambling session. But you want to avoid making up lame excuses that everybody can see through.

I’m going to discuss three slots excuses that you want to avoid at all costs. These excuses are not only lame, but they can also trick you into spending more money.

The Casino Changed the RTP

Return to player (RTP) refers to how much a slot machine pays back on average. For instance, a game with 97% RTP will theoretically give back $97 for every $100 wagered.

Some players believe that casinos change the RTP when they’re winning. They use this excuse to justify when they’re winning in the beginning, then start losing money afterward.

The reality, though, is that casinos don’t change RTP on a whim. They already have the advantage and don’t need to alter payback for an even bigger edge.

I’m On the Wrong Machine

Many gamblers think that certain slot machines are lucky. They may experience a hot session on one game, then believe that it’s their ticket to riches.

Unfortunately, they can use this scenario as an excuse for why they lose with other games. They’ll have a bad session, then claim it’s because they’re not on a lucky machine.

Slots giveth and taketh. If you have a great session on one game, it’s most likely just because you were lucky in the moment – not because of the machine itself.

The Casino Is Crooked

A small percentage of casinos have cheated gamblers throughout the centuries. However, casinos cheating is such a rare occurrence that it’s almost not even worth mentioning today.

A gambling venue caught rigging slot machines would lose their license and destroy their reputation. This is hardly worth winning a few extra bucks from players.
