Vegas Casino Lets Slots Players Order Drinks from Machines

Traditionally, you need to wait for cocktail waitresses before placing your drink order. But a Vegas casino is changing this by letting slots players order drinks from their machines.

According to Vegas Inc, Westgate Las Vegas will equip 600 slot machines with a Beverage Ordering Service System. Bellow I’ll cover how slots players order drinks and why Westgate is becoming the first to offer this convenience.

How Slots Players Order Drinks

Westgate slots players click a martini glass logo button on the machine to pull up the drink menu. They then use this menu to select the drink of their choice.

Bartenders will receive an alert on their computer system and make the drink when they have a chance. The Beverage Ordering Service System is so advanced that players can track the drink from the time it’s ordered to when the waitress brings it out.

“This will help us improve our service and get us to the top of the list of the beverage service,” said Tyler Conover, Westgate’s loyalty marketing manager.

“Cocktail service is big thing for guests. It is something that sticks out as a dissatisfying. This helps us, and we want to improve and be ahead of the pack. It will help us improve wait times for cocktails.”

Why is Westgate Offering This New Drink Ordering Service

The reason why Westgate is pioneering the concept of letting slots players order drinks is that they want to save time for everybody involved.

Players no longer have to wait as long on drinks, and staff members will have an easier time fulfilling these orders. Special VIP players will get an extra perk in that their menus will be larger.

“Those options don’t appear on the screen for someone who just signed up for the players program or are on the lower tier,” Conover explained. “It can differentiate between the different levels.”

Offering more convenience, the Beverage Ordering Service System is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Vegas area.
